Locally Owned and Independent
Freedom Inspection Services, Inc. is an independent business locally owned and operated in Idaho.  I take pride in providing you with quality and personalized service not always available with franshise and larger multi-inspector firms.  I work for you, yet I inspect your property as if you are a part of my family.  Through my commitment, experience, and expertise, I will establish and personalize a business relationship with you that will last for as long as you own your home.

National Certification
I am a firm believer that any service provider should show their commitment to their business and industry by being certified on a local and national basis.  Unfortunately Idaho does not require any licensing for home inspectors at this time.  This means anyone can claim to be a home inspector regardless of their commitment to the trade.  I am a member in good standing of both the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).  I am nationally certified by the both NACHI and the National Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors (EBPHI).  I have also passed the certification tests for the formal Standards of Practice and the industry Code of Ethics adminstered by ASHI and InterNACHI.

Quality, Detailed Inspections
I am a very thorough and detailed person by nature, and my inspections follow suit.  I perform no more than two inspections a day.  This allows me adequate time to perform a thorough analysis of a property and discuss my findings with you while on site.  Many inspection firms will perform three or more inspections a day, making it difficult to provide a true personalized service.  If shopping around, ask other inspectors how many hours they average on-site - then ask yourself if a quality home inspection can be done in that amount of time.  I average 3.5-4.5 hours on-site, with report my report writing averaging 2.5-3.5 hours.

Past Experience
I have over 10 years in the construction industry (roofing, plumbing, electrical, structures, etc.), as well as the remodeling industry with emphasis on complete vintage home remodeling.  My 20+ years of farming and ranching experience set the basis for Freedom Inspections specializing in small acreage/ranch inspections.  I have also been involved in real estate and property investing for over 15 years.  All of this experience provides me with an excellent foundation to not only inspect properties, but also provide you with information about how to repair and maintain a property.

Training and Continued Education
I received my inspection training from the Inspection Training Association institute (considered one of the best inspection training institute in the nation) graduating in the top of my class. In order to maintain a good understanding of the current trends in the building industry, and meet the requirements of my ASHI and NACHI affiliations, I complete 30+ hours of continued education each year.

Detailed, Easy-To-Read Reports
Freedom Inspection Services, Inc. utilizes a state-of-the-art computerized home inspection software and reporting system.  The reports produced are in a well orgainized, easy to read and understand narrative style which are customized to your property vs. a generic pre-printed checklist form used by other inspection firms.  My reports typically include a large number of pictures to help you better understand the issues being described.  I deliver my reports within 24 hours of the inspection via e-mail or a secure Internet web site, where they are maintained for up to 1 year after the date of inspection for your continued access.  Click on Sample Reports in the left hand navigation bar to view example reports.

Free 'How to Operate Your Home' Manual
Each new customer will receive a free, personal copy of "Basic Home Systems: How to Operation Your Home" manual with their paid inspection.  This manual is authored by Mr. Tom Feiza (known as Mr. Fix-It in the housing industry) and provides an excellent reference for the home owner.

The Freedom Inspection Guarantee
I don't like paying for services that I am not happy with and I would not expect you to have to pay for my services if you are unhappy.  I am so confident about the quality of the inspection service I provide, that if you are not completely satisfied with the inspection service I provide you,  I will refund your money.  In fact, I have written the following guaratee into my contract: "If the Client is dissatisfied with the terms of the contract, or the quality of the inspection, they may return the report within five business days and sign a release of liability form, which will nullify the inspection, and the contractual responsibilities of both the Client and Freedom Inspections, and Freedom Inspections will refund the full amount of the inspection fee."

Remember, a cheap inspection from a lesser qualified inspection firm may end up costing you thousands down the road because of missed or unreported defects.  Regardless if you choose Freedom Inspections to perform your property inspection or not, I highly recommend you choose and inspection firm that is qualified, certified and insured.
