Outbuilding Inspections Provide
Peace of Mind for Safety and Investment
Whether you
are buying or selling a small ranch, farm or a similar property with outbuildings/barns, you should have the outbuildings/barns
inspected for function and safety - just like you would your home. Aside from the property, equipment, and structures
themselves, most acreage properties have large financial investments in their outbuildings/barns - not to mention
the potential investment in livestock, horses and/or equipment serviced by those structures. Ensuring animal safety
alone makes an outbuilding/barn inspection a very worthwhile investment.
Outbuildings and barns entail many of the same structural
and system aspects as a residence. As such, my inspections of outbuildings and/or barns follow many of the same inspection steps
as a home inspection, but with the addition of inspecting the building with regards to it's specific use (e.g. livestock,
horses, storage, etc.)
Investment costs of outbuildings and/or barns usually
account for a large portion of the property value. Having these assets inspected provides peace of mind with regards
to their integrity and your investment.
